Ehresman tells us "Last October, the Washington Post reported that Trump was up to 20,000 lies since 2016, and that seemed to me to be the kind of ugly milestone that should form the basis of a good, raucous protest song........And I pity the poor intern whose job it is to sit the bowels of the newspaper's office and count Orange-Headed lies all day......."

This one is a real rockin' rabble-rouser, with some of the best lyrics of Ehresman's long career: "the ziggurat of falsehoods climbing higher/blocks the sunlight that could grow our better dreams/And the tensile strength of tortured self-delusion/is being tested right before our weary eyes/And that bloody strain that’s always been beneath us/is being watered by the bile they can’t disguise of 20,000 lies."
