--written after briefly seeing a pretty girl in the Eagle County Airport, in Colorado, 1998. I never spoke to her (except for getting my boarding pass), but for some reason the encounter started thawing my heart after many years of numbness in a loveless marriage. I started writing and recording music again, got divorced not too long after and in '99 started my nine year run of going to Burning Man and just generally trying to wake up and live again and find people to be around that live in an emotionally honest way.
