Ehresman tells us: "As I was finishing writing and recording songs for this album, I realized that it was all getting kind of serious......But then again, how could songs about the end of Trump (but the lingering stain of Trumpism), the pandemic and the immature and dangerous response to it by conservatives, the Jan. 6 yahoo riot/coup attempt, and just mortality generally be anything else?......And so, I decided that I should interject a moment of levity into the proceedings, and this track is the result........I had just watched an episdoe of a new mini-series with John Lurie (ex-Lounge Lizards) called "Painting With John" where he discussed the concept in Thailand of "sanuk," which is a national philosophy of the importance of having fun every day. .......Well, that's something I can certainly get behind, and trying to represent it musically was great fun, and hopefully the final result provides a little respite in the midst all the psychic heaviness on this album."

This track really is a lot of fun, and exhibits the kind of tongue-in-cheek synth experimentalism of one of Ehresman's musical heroes, Todd Rundgren (from the A Wizard/A True Star period).
