Ehresman gives the backstory for this piece: "As the appointed Eternal Minister of Chilies and Dubious Anthems
for the great micro-nation of Ladonia, it is my responsibility to provide anthems for the Court and the various ministries of the cabinet ministers. This anthem idealizes an image of the Queen of Ladonia, rising majestically from Nimis on the Ladonian shore, surrounded by the indigenous animals traditionally associated with her."
